StackCare ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the StackCare mobile application ("App") and any related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
StackCare is designed with privacy at its core. Your health data is stored primarily on your device. We do not sell your data to third parties. Anonymous usage analytics never include medicine names, measurement values, notes, contacts, or appointment details.
When you use the Service, you may provide the following types of information:
Our anonymous usage analytics explicitly never include: medicine or supplement names, exact measurement values, journal or diary content, health contact details, appointment specifics, emergency card information, or any other personally identifiable health data.
| Purpose | Data Used |
|---|---|
| Providing core app functionality | Health data, supplement data, schedules, measurements |
| Syncing data across your devices | Account-linked data via Supabase (if enabled) |
| Processing subscriptions | Subscription status via RevenueCat |
| Improving the Service | Anonymous usage analytics |
| AI Review Prep features | Supplement stack data (processed server-side only when you explicitly request a review) |
| Label scanning | Label images (processed and discarded after extraction) |
The majority of your health data is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage mechanisms provided by Apple's iOS platform. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly use sync or AI features.
If cloud sync is enabled, your data may be stored on secure servers provided by Supabase (our backend service provider). Data in transit is encrypted using TLS. Data at rest is encrypted using industry-standard encryption.
Photographs taken for label scanning are processed to extract text and product information. Images are not permanently stored on our servers and are discarded after processing.
We use the following third-party services:
| Service | Purpose | Data Shared |
|---|---|---|
| Apple (App Store / StoreKit) | App distribution, payment processing | Purchase transactions |
| RevenueCat | Subscription management | Anonymous user ID, subscription status |
| Supabase | Backend data storage and sync | Account and health data (if sync enabled) |
Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
Your data is retained for as long as you maintain an active account. You may delete your data at any time:
