Is my health data safe?

Yes. StackCare is designed with privacy at its core:

  • Your health data is stored primarily on your device using Apple's encrypted storage
  • We do not sell your data to any third party
  • Anonymous analytics never include medicine names, measurement values, notes, or personal details
  • You can opt out of anonymous analytics entirely in Settings → Analytics

For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Is StackCare medical advice?

No. StackCare is an organizational tool for tracking supplements, medications, and health data. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. AI-generated features like Review Prep provide informational notes for discussion with your healthcare provider; they are not clinical guidance. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health decisions.

The label scanner gave incorrect results. What should I do?

Label scanning uses OCR and AI, which may produce inaccurate results. Always review and verify all scanned data before saving it. You can edit any imported item's details manually in the app. If you consistently get poor scan results, try using the "Add Manually" option instead.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Open StackCare on your new device and tap "Restore" on the subscription screen. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID that was used for the original purchase. Your subscription will be restored automatically.
