Who may use Piko
The person who creates a parent account must be at least 18 and must be a parent or legal guardian with authority to create and manage each child profile. Children may use Piko only through a profile controlled by that parent. A child may not create or manage a separate adult account.
The parent is responsible for supervising use, keeping sign-in details and the Parent PIN private, choosing appropriate settings, and ensuring that each child uses Piko with the parent’s permission.
What Piko provides
Piko offers AI-supported questions and answers, voice conversations, stories, drawings, quizzes, and parent tools. AI responses can be incomplete or mistaken. A parent should help a child check important information. Piko is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice.
Piko does not display advertising to children. Parents control available features and settings in Parent Zone. See the Privacy Policy for details about information processed by Piko and its service providers.
Subscriptions and trials
Piko Plus and Piko Max are offered as monthly or annual auto-renewing subscriptions. The price, billing period, trial terms, and renewal date shown by Apple at purchase apply to your storefront and account.
- Eligible subscriptions may include a seven-day free trial. Apple determines eligibility.
- Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription converts to the paid plan shown at checkout.
- After that, the subscription renews automatically at the displayed price unless canceled before the next renewal date.
- To cancel or manage a subscription, use your Apple account’s subscription settings. Deleting a Piko account does not cancel the Apple subscription.
- Restore purchases from Parent Zone → Subscription when access does not appear on a device.
Apple handles in-app payment. RevenueCat helps Piko synchronize subscription and purchase status. Refund requests are handled under Apple’s applicable process and rules.
Family profiles and seats
Free accounts support one child profile and one parent seat. Paid family plans support up to four child profiles and up to four parent seats total, subject to the limits shown in the app. Parents share plan allowances across the family and remain responsible for invited adult seat holders.
Invited adults must keep access private and use the account only for family administration. A parent can manage family profiles and seats in Parent Zone.
Boost purchases
Boost, Big Boost, and Video Boost are one-time purchases. They do not renew. Each Boost credit lot expires 90 days after purchase. Boost units are used after the included plan allowance is exhausted. Video credits can be purchased on any tier, but Show Piko video is available only on Piko Max.
Pairing devices and protecting access
A parent can create a one-use, six-digit pairing code for a child’s device. The code expires after ten minutes. Do not share it outside the family. If it expires or has already been used, create a new code from Parent Zone.
Keep the parent account password and PIN secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and should tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed it without permission.
Acceptable use
You and your child may not use Piko to break the law, harm or exploit anyone, create abusive or dangerous material, invade another person’s privacy, infringe intellectual property, disrupt the service, or try to bypass Piko’s safety protections. Parents should not submit sensitive information about a child unless a feature requires it.
We may limit or suspend access when needed to protect a child, account, or service, investigate misuse, or comply with law.
Deleting an account
A parent can request account deletion from Parent Zone → Privacy Center → Export and delete → Delete my parent account. The parent confirms the account email and PIN. Deletion removes the account and its child profiles and saved content. It is permanent. The parent must separately cancel any Apple subscription.
More detail is on the Privacy Policy and the Support page.
Changes and legal terms
We may update Piko or these terms as the service changes. If a material change affects families, we will provide notice through the service where appropriate. Continuing to use Piko after an updated effective date means the parent accepts the revised terms, subject to rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
The working governing jurisdiction is India, subject to owner confirmation and legal review. Nothing in these terms removes consumer protections that apply by law.
Questions can be sent through Parent Zone → Feedback and safety report. See Support.
